If you would like to be a referee or you think you have what it takes then it couldn't be simpler for you to join the ranks at Mill Park...
It starts with you showing interest towards any one of the committee members or referee supervisors.
They will then direct you to our Referee's Advisor who is responsible for conducting Orientation Level courses for beginner referees.
After this, you will join a group (approximately 10-12 people) that will take part in classes one night a week for about 4 weeks. These classes comprise two parts; about 12 hours of Theory and 4 hours of Practical applications. However, it is up to the Advisor of lesson plans each week. Classes are run in a fun learning environment and attendees can be of any age or gender.
Once you complete the lessons to the Advisor's liking, you will be graded as a "trainee" or "apprentice" referee and will work with a mentor/master referee for a number of weeks/games until assessed as having all the competencies of a Level 1C Referee.
All you need is a whistle, a rule book and a readiness to learn.
If you think this could be for you, don't hesitate to contact any one of the above mentioned people or even drop us an email and we will pass on your details.
